Behind the scene at berbel
In the past months, we have been able to literally give various kitchen industry journalists a glimpse into the kitchen of our client, berbel. The internationally operating company berbel is located just across the border in Rheine (DE) and has been developing, producing, and selling range hoods since 2001. Berbel range hoods quickly and effectively remove cooking vapors and grease from the kitchen. You might think... all range hoods do that, right?
But that is not true. That’s why we wanted various journalists to experience this remarkable company and the unique berbel technology firsthand. The innovative berbel technology is, in fact, the secret recipe for clean air in the kitchen. Through its own research, innovative ideas, and a good dose of passion, the company has set new quality standards in functionality and design: whisper-quiet range hoods, without grease filters, that are extremely easy to clean. Berbel has revolutionized how range hoods function.
So what is different? The berbel principle uses centrifugal force to separate grease, eliminating the need for a grease filter. This is highly efficient and allows for a consistently high grease separation compared to conventional systems with grease filters. Without bothersome odors and noise, without loss of suction power, and particularly easy to clean: unfold, wipe down, and fold back up!
During a two-day visit, several journalists from Dutch and Belgian kitchen trade magazines visited berbel over time. The visit was combined with berbel kitchen dealers who wanted to gain additional knowledge for advice and sales. The berbel Academy, as the two-day event is called, offers extensive knowledge transfer with deep insights into the product world of the extraction hood specialist. In addition to a company presentation, the academy includes extensive product presentations in berbel's two showrooms, learning the theory behind the innovative berbel technology, and a factory tour. The latter is an essential part of the visit, where the entire production process from A to Z could be observed firsthand, as well as the remarkable craftsmanship in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
Of course, business was combined with pleasure, and alongside knowledge sharing and networking, there was also delicious food and fun enjoyed until the early hours.
