Press launch of Little Greene's latest wallpaper collection: 'National Trust Papers IV'

January 11 and 12, 2024

Little Greene officially launched its latest wallpaper collection, 'National Trust Papers IV', during Paris Deco Off. Naturally, we informed the Dutch press about this new, eclectic wallpaper collection before the official launch. Through our familiar approach of 'Rondje redactie', we, along with Ruth Mottershead, Creative Director, and Clémence Flamée, Marketing Manager of Little Greene, spent two days visiting a select number of editorial offices in the Netherlands and Belgium.

‘National Trust Papers IV’
‘National Trust Papers IV’ is a colorful and versatile collection of historical wallpaper designs, based on original patterns found in historic properties managed by the National Trust. The wallpaper designs date back to 1770 and remain relevant today. Each wallpaper in the collection has been redrawn and colored with respect for the traditional methods and materials used to create the original designs. As a result, the total of 42 wallpaper color schemes integrate harmoniously within modern interiors. The collection includes prints featuring exotic birds, stylized flowers and garlands, ditsy print flowers, and large-scale tropical murals.

Two-Day 'Editorial Round'

On the first day, a cold winter day, we started with a visit to DPG Media in Antwerp. After a always warm welcome, Ruth and Clémence presented the new wallpaper collection to the editorial teams of Stijlvol Wonen, Wonen Landelijke Stijl, Ariadne at Home, and Eigen Huis & Interieur. It was great to see that the wallpaper designs and color schemes were well received. In the afternoon, we traveled to Amsterdam for a visit to the editorial team of Seasons, before ending the day in the city center with an appointment at Residence.

A lovely dinner at Brasserie de Luwte was a perfect conclusion to this successful first day!

Day two began with a coffee date at The Hoxton with representatives from Vogue Living, Stek Magazine, Eigen Huis & Interieur NL, and LINDA. Here too, the beautiful prints, created using traditional surface printing and advanced digital printers, were received with enthusiasm. During a lovely lunch, Elle Decoration and trend watcher Monique van der Reijden were updated on the new designs from Little Greene’s National Trust Papers IV wallpaper collection.

Of course, we also left behind inspiration in the form of a mini wallpaper book, a press pack with samples, color charts, and a tea towel featuring one of the wallpaper patterns. It was two well-filled, enjoyable, and inspiring days!
