Little Greene’s new capsule collection ‘Sweet Treats’ called for a delicious launch, inspired by the delightful names of the brand-new paint colors. Therefore, Kunst&Kook in Amsterdam was the perfect place to present the collection of honey, caramel, and chocolate tones to the press.
This autumn, Little Greene launched ‘Sweet Treats’, a carefully curated collection inspired by delicious desserts and some of the world’s most flavorful sweet treats. The playful, delightful names, such as ‘Madeleine’, ‘Galette’, ‘Affogato’, ‘Muscovado’, and ‘Ganache’ bring the tempting colors to life. And where better to showcase these colors than in a cooking studio?
Thus, we organized an exclusive press launch at Kunst&Kook in Amsterdam. In a cozy setting, we welcomed interior press and influencers with coffee and homemade coconut macaroons and banana cake made by owner Muriel. Then it was time to reveal the new colors. Ruth Mottershead, Creative Director of Little Greene, and Clémence Flamée, Marketing Manager of Little Greene, traveled from the UK to present the new ‘Sweet Treats’ palette of nine versatile colors to the press. The collection of honey, caramel, and chocolate hues appeals to all the senses. In addition to the existing Little Greene favorite - the flavorful color ‘Chocolate Colour’ – the tempting collection features new refined gold tones like ‘Madeleine’ and ‘Bombolone’, trendy caramel shades ‘Galette’ and ‘Affogato’, soft pinks ‘Split Pink’ and ‘Mochi’, the mild, terracotta-like hue ‘Muscovado’ and the rich chocolate tint ‘Ganache’. Everyone was excited about the new Sweet Treats colors.
After the presentation, it was time to bring the delicious colors to life with Muriel’s chocolate workshop. Besides delectable Ganache bonbons and Affogato truffles, the guests collectively made and decorated various chocolates. In Little Greene aprons, everyone worked together to melt chocolate, create fillings, pour chocolate into molds, decorate bonbons, and take turns popping the bonbons out of the molds. This created lots of fun and hilarity.
All that 'hard' work makes you hungry, so Muriel prepared a delicious Ottolenghi lunch that everyone enjoyed. Naturally, the guests didn't leave empty-handed. Everyone received a well-stocked ‘Sweet Treats’ goodie bag from Little Greene, which included a beautiful box of sample pots of the new colors, a press pack with new images and color card, a warm brown nail polish, and a handy paintbrush. And of course, there was also an apron and a beautifully filled box of homemade bonbons. It was an inspiring and delightful celebration!
