The Teylers Museum in Haarlem, the oldest museum in the Netherlands, with its extensive collection of semi-precious minerals and the beautifully restored historic home of founder Pieter Teyler, provided the perfect setting for our Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library press event.
Both Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library launched new collections in mid-December.
Paint & Paper Library introduced a new capsule paint collection called ‘Jewels.’ The eight new shades in this collection are inspired by the colors of semi-precious minerals.
Little Greene launched a new wallpaper collection, ‘Storybook Papers,’ created in collaboration with the National Trust. Similar to the Pieter Teyler House, where the wallpaper and paint colors in the rooms are inspired by historical periods, Little Greene bases its wallpaper designs on archival fragments discovered in National Trust properties and preserved by this charitable organization.
The Teylers Museum in Haarlem was therefore the perfect venue for the press launch of both collections.
A large group of journalists, editors, freelancers, influencers, and stylists from home and lifestyle magazines such as ELLE Decoration, LINDA., Residence, Vogue Living, vtwonen, vt Landelijk, Stijlvol Wonen, Ariadne at Home, Seasons, Margriet, JAN, Harper’s Bazaar, STEK magazine, and Scandinavian Living attended both presentations.
Between the presentations, we treated our guests to a unique guided museum tour featuring the semi-precious minerals of the Teylers Museum, a visit to Pieter Teyler’s house, and the museum’s extraordinary, normally inaccessible, old library.
In addition to being an inspiring afternoon, it was also an educational experience, which concluded pleasantly with drinks and snacks. The press then departed with two well-filled gift bags. We want to thank everyone for this fantastic afternoon!
