Highly aesthetic design, extraordinary elegance, a sense of proportion and materials, and the experience within the space create a feeling of safety and a new sense of home. Keeping this in mind, KLAFS has repeatedly collaborated with prominent names in the design world, creating design icons with a distinctive style. The KLAFS brand has received multiple awards for design, innovation, and high customer satisfaction. The manufacturer’s new products are always highly appreciated by internationally renowned jury members, such as the Matteo Thun sauna and steam bath combination, which has received several prestigious design awards.

Diverse portfolio – realized from a single source

KLAFS offers a diverse range of products for private wellness dreams and realizes luxurious spa projects in the professional sector. The assortment includes everything one could imagine in the field of wellness. In executing custom solutions, customers receive everything from a single source: from comprehensive advice, design, and planning to installation and maintenance; KLAFS manages the entire project.

Craftsmanship meets advanced technology

KLAFS has traditionally been produced in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany. Here, tradition, extraordinary craftsmanship, and ultramodern technology come together. The wood—a core material in sauna construction—is sourced from certified suppliers that meet high ecological and social standards. The careful selection of materials for the production of each individual KLAFS product is subjected to the highest quality standards. This results in sustainable wellness oases. Because a KLAFS sauna accompanies you for many years—this is the most effective form of sustainability for KLAFS.

Careful Use of Resources

Sustainable business operations and sauna enjoyment go hand in hand. With new technologies, such as the KLAFS Green Sauna, KLAFS offers its customers energy-efficient solutions for their wellness spaces. KLAFS saunas are already equipped with efficient and sustainable heaters, optimal heat insulation, and intelligent controls. Additionally, demand-oriented ventilation through the KLAFS climate manager or special insulating glass fronts are developments from KLAFS that positively influence the energy balance. Therefore, KLAFS saunas have been distinguished for years with the German environmental label 'Der Blaue Engel,' making them unique in the industry.

Wellness with Tradition

The first stone was laid in 1928 by Erich Klafs in Szczecin, present-day Poland. His company sold products for medical bath therapy. After the end of World War II, Erich Klafs moved his business to Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. In 1952, he had the first fully prefabricated sauna made and delivered it with his car and a small transport trailer. He then took sauna production into his own hands. The location was expanded several times in the subsequent years and became the current headquarters of the KLAFS Group. In addition to subsidiaries in Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain, and Poland, the group grew through the acquisition of various companies, rounding out its portfolio as a total supplier for saunas, pools, and spas. KLAFS operates internationally with sales partners in more than 44 countries. www.klafs.nl
